LESSONS,
BANd CLASSes,
beyond
As a teacher, I encourage my students to share their musical tastes and interests with me in order to teach them songs that are exciting and engaging to them while developing their technical skills as a player. I honor the idea that music is a personal experience. By taking the time to dig a little deeper, find out what drives the student as a pursuer of music and focusing in on that, I have seen positive results in increased practicing habits, increased technical skill as a player, and a strong desire to learn about other techniques and styles.
